I love my gadgets; I am always looking for some smart new tech or something different.
I have brought many different gadgets, most of which I use a few times and then never use for many months, some people may call this a waste of money, but I will always come back to all my gadgets and use them again and enjoy all over again why I loved it in the first place.
As I was looking around the internet I noticed the iDog, it first looks like a toy, but to some can be called a speaker as that’s its main purpose.
Developed by Sega Toys and Tiger Electronics, The Dog (man’s best friend) has just been replaced, by the iDog.
This dog also needs attention but its feed is something you will enjoy too (no not dog food) MUSIC, it feeds on your Tunes.
The attention to detail on the iDog and the build quality is excellent and matches the white and chrome finish of the iPod. It requires 2 AA batteries (not supplied) and has a 3.5mm analogue input.
The user guide explains well and simply every aspect of using your iDog, also what to-do when personalizing training and interpreting his actions.
As soon as you plug in the batteries the iDog barks and lets you know he’s awake. You will notice that he is a puppy straight out of the box with no personality and needs music to build a character.
He is targeted at the iPod for training, but you can use many other types of audio equipment. The first thing I noticed is how good the sound comes out of the little white plastic dog’s speakers (For The Price) .
As I said before, The attention to detail on the iDog is excellent, from the rubber paws on the bottom to the light sensor on his head is great.
He moves his head, displays lights, makes dog noises and plays music when he has developed a character, he will try and do things to get your attention.
If you love gadgets you should buy the iDog. |
